- ECHO lobbied for the amendment of the Juvenile Justice Act 2000 (JJA 2000)
- ECHO was recognized as a "Fit Institution" under the JJA 2000
- ECHO pioneered and established in collaboration with the Department of Police the first Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU) in India (Bangalore, 2004)
- ECHO is an active member of the Home Committee and the Inspection Committee under JJA 2000
- ECHO initiated the Karnataka Juvenile Justice Forum (KJJF) to monitor the Juvenile Justice system in Karnataka (India)
- ECHO is a forerunner of transit & rehabilitation centers for children in conflict with law in India
- ECHO pioneered the Traffic Police Assistance Program in Bangalore
- ECHO rehabilitated 2240 juveniles to mainstream society (March 2000 - March 2008)
- ECHO helped more than 8750 juveniles through case studies, legal aid, home visits, counseling and follow up (March 2000 - March 2008)
- ECHO brought 10,000 under privileged children on November 22nd 2008 for a day of joy and festivity during their annual event Balamela
- The Founder and Executive Director of ECHO Dr. Antony Sebastion O.Praem, Advocate became a member in the Juvenile Justice Court, Bangalore, Karnataka
