One of ECHO's most innovative rehabilitative programs is the Traffic Police Assistant Program. This program aims at metamorphosing juvenile delinquents into responsible members of society. Earlier law breakers now become law enforcers. ECHO is extremely proud that the Traffic Police Assistants attended Republic Day's Parade 2006 (see photo). Read more... News from ECHO: ECHO in collaboration with the Holy Cross sisters started a Transitional Home for girls in Carmelaram (July 2006); A report on the Traffic Police Assistants Program trained by ECHO was broadcasted by CNN-IBN (July 2006); Capping ceremony of ECHO's 1st batch of girl TPAs (June 2006); SJPU shifted from Banaswadi to centrally located Shivaji Nagar police station, thereby covering more Bangalore-based police stations (March 2006); ECHO published its new brochure and a poster on Juvenile Justice Act 2000 (JJA 2000) and Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU) (March 2006)
